Passionate about solving real world problems through technology & innovation. Before turning a full time entrepreneur, worked with Deloitte as consultant, and with J.P.Morgan as an Equity Research Analyst in their investment banking arm. As an entrepreneur, started the first company in commodity trading (Finura Acoustics) followed by two internet ventures in recruiting (TalentPad) and transportation (Trevo) space respectively. Over the last 7 years, have had exposure to multiple industries some of them being investment banking, transportation, recruiting, banking and insurance etc. Functionally, have developed strong expertise in business operations, business development, sales, strategy and planning. Outside of work, love being a sportsman. Played Lawn tennis and Table tennis at inter-collegiate level and wishes to continue playing for fun and fitness.

  • Today either there are low-cost public transport options like the bus / metros which cost < Rs 2 /km, but are extremely uncomfortable and overcrowded, or at the other spectrum there are door-to-door options like Uber / UberPool, which are convenient but heavy on the pocket (i.e. > Rs 10-15 /km), to be used for daily use. Auto are in the middle, which are somewhat convenient but again decently expensive (~Rs 10 /km). There is a huge gap in between, a massive market to be addressed.
  • Trevo is a network of private buses and mini-buses, which are highly convenient, predictable and reliable for your daily travel, maybe it be to your workplace or to your college or to your tuition class or whatsoever it maybe. It gives you the convenience to pre-book your seat, to track your bus in real-time, so now no waiting at the bus stop, enjoy your in-bus ride with value added services like free high-speed wifi, magazines / newspapers, charging stations, in-bus entertainment system, beverages like water / soft drinks, and of course a place to connect with your co-travellers.
