Exploring and building Agentic Data Systems that think — platforms where data, compute, and AI collaborate autonomously. I’m the CTO at Sundial, where we’re re-imagining how data platforms and AI agents converge. Over the past few years, I’ve helped scale Sundial from a seed-stage concept to a Series A company — building the core data ETL, OLAP and Agentic AI layers and growing the engineering team India and serving as the Site Lead at Sundial India. The Sundial platform operates at very large scale and serves some big clients like OpenAI, CharacterAI , Picsart, Venmo etc. I focus on defining the technical vision, architecture, and direction for the platform — guiding design decisions while remaining very hands-on with the most critical systems. I thrive getting deep into the nitty gritty details and staying hands on. Recent work includes leading the design of our AI Agentic Layer, a multi-agent system that reasons over large-scale data and delivers autonomous, high-accuracy insights. Earlier, I architected and guided the evolution of Sundial’s data platform to handle 100 TB+ of daily processing across Spark, Trino, and Delta Lakes. Before Sundial, I spent 8+ years at Nutanix, joining as one of the first six engineers in India. I worked on the metadata, caching and storage layers that power Nutanix’s distributed infrastructure — including high-throughput KV stores (RocksDB / Cassandra) and replicated metadata systems. Earlier in my career at Cisco and Netgear, I worked on datacenter switching and enterprise Wi-Fi platforms — foundational experiences that shaped my focus on reliability, scale, and performance. I’m deeply interested in the next generation of AI-driven infrastructure — where data layers, semantics, and agentic reasoning merge to create autonomous, self-optimizing systems.
