• Worked in the capacity of a Tech Lead within the Special Clouds S+C (Security and Compliance) Team dealing with M365 Infrastructure (Substrate and Control Plane). Not only demystified the EOP Model-A Buildout Automation Space for go-big plans in CY23 and CY24 with a $10+ billion impact but also led the initiatives for EOP Deployment Toil Reduction in WW and AG (Air Gapped) Clouds. Designed and delivered the E2E Zero-Touch EOP Model-A Provisioning Bootstrap Buildout Automation reducing 30+ manual touchpoints to 0 and optimizing the overall buildout time from 23 days to ~2 hours.
• Also improved the availability of EOP servers/machines during deployments by enabling SxS (Side-By-Side) mechanism for DotBuildUpgrades thereby reducing machine downtime by 85%+ for each EOP server viz. from Reimage (~4 hrs) to SxS (30 min).

• Worked in the Payments Services Team as a Step-Up Lead Engineer that deals with all the Global Payments happening in Europe. Worked in the PSD2 Compliance Project for providing Strong Customer Authentication (SCA) via OTP challenge across European countries and built E2E Data Pipelines for Quicksight dashboarding. Designed & launched Device Data Collection (DDC) for Frictionless customer experience apart from owning 3 Tier-1 Services viz. 3DS Authentication Plugins - Cardinal, Computer Associates and Payline for EU Marketplaces with a $30+ billion impact.
• Led a team of 7+ engineers to ensure "five-nines" Availability across our Tier-1 3DS Payment Plugins, created a roadmap for the same and worked towards Latency Optimization for our customers thereby providing them a better checkout experience. Also, acted as the Tech Lead for 3DS Plugins Onboarding for 40+ clients by shepherding office hours for unblocking them be it design queries, reviews, suggestions, providing scalable solutions or resolving bottlenecks and became the single PoC for all Product and Business related discussions with SMEs and stakeholders (internal and external).
• Being a tenured and leading Bar Raiser (BR) at Amazon (a non-paid job indeed), I am/was truly passionate about Hiring, Developing Others, Sharing and Learning. Such is this passion that I had taken 900+ interviews (BR’ed 350+ loops in 2020 and 250+ in 2021 - all virtual) across 25+ job families and 15+ geographies, nominated and mentored/graduated 12+ BRITs and did some 60+ odd tech assessments (role conversions, level promos, intern conversions, etc.). Apart from being a mentor to dozens of SDEs, I also had a dedicated broadcast channel within Amazon under the name "Pratul’s Learning Series" and I kept contributing to this space on various topics be it Hiring & Interviewing, Career Development and Growth Path, Architectural/System Designs & Bottlenecks or Becoming a Champ in Operational Excellence (OE).

• Continued working in the Access Point Tech (AKA Amazon Lockers Team) for an S-Team goal named JEDI which was focused around C-Returns. AMZL didn't do returns even for home earlier and this was the first time we enabled return path for AMZL (Amazon).
• AMZL DAs (Amazon Delivery Associates) were only responsible for delivering customer packages to their home or Amazon Lockers whereas packages returned by Customers were always picked up by 3P (Third Party) carriers either from their home or Amazon Lockers. With this JEDI initiative, we introduced a new capability where AMZL DAs were able to see pickup stops on their Rabbit App for these C-Return Packages and get pick up codes for collecting these return packages from lockers and submitting them back to respective delivery stations.

• Worked in the Access Point Technology (APT) formerly Last Mile Technology (LMT) Team responsible for the scalable design and optimum workflows of Amazon Lockers (Kiosks) for Customer Pickups and Carrier Deliveries thereby providing a great customer experience and ease of communication with locker associates.
• Built the entire Kiosk Deployment Automation (KiDA) System for Amazon Lockers worldwide single-handedly from scratch. Also, designed and implemented QRCode Handshake mechanism between Amazon Lockers and Driver's Rabbit App worldwide in addition to the Locker-Camera Integration for SNCF Lockers installed in France.

• Worked in the Kindle Frameworks Team for Fire OS line of products (Fire Tablets, Fire TVs and Fire Sticks) specialized in AWV module providing frugal, scalable and super-efficient products to end-users.
• Handled the Amazon WebView (AWV) module for FireOS (a forked out version of Android). This requires a sound knowledge of Android Platform (FireOS) and Chromium Open Source Project (WebView).
• A WebView is a browser bundled inside of a mobile application producing what is called a hybrid app. Using a webview allows mobile apps to be built using Web technologies (HTML, Javascript, CSS, etc.) but still package it as a native app and put it in the Appstore.
• During my short stint in the Frameworks team, I triaged more than 250+ JIRAs for WebView and optimized the WebView App size to save system partition space on E-Ink Products (a major task brought to completion after a lot of investigation). I also worked a little on the implementation of UX design for SD Cards in Fire Tablets such as BMATS and Incompatible SD cards notifications and dialogs.
• Also fixed Android Sync Manager Wake Up Calls for Tablets, monitored metrics for Accessory Notifier, Automatic Time Zone and Print Spooler modules fixing the abnormal crashes going beyond the threshold value.

• Opinion Mining and Sentiment Analysis Implementation : Implemented a new improved algorithm of Semantic Orientation which uses a modified data structure to store the sentiment values of a phrase along-with different positioning of tagger elements which improved its performance.
• Application of Natural Language Processing, Computation Linguistics and Text Analytics : Using Stanford Core NLP and WEKA (for machine learning algorithms), implemented POS Tagger, Stemmer and Lemmatizer along with an Inverse-Document Frequency generator for computing sentiment polarity for a given text-based review.
• Received a pre-placement offer (PPO) at the end of my 2-month internship at Samsung in 2013 (during my 3rd year of B.Tech) and later joined the company as a full-time employee (FTE) in 2014 after graduating.
