Team Aurora (UAS IIIT D), established in early 2015 under the mentor-ship of Dr. P.B Sujit (Assistant Professor ,ECE Department, IIIT Delhi) , is a diverse group of students from Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology, Delhi (IIIT-Delhi) coming together with a zeal to do innovation in the domain of unmanned systems. Expertise spanning the team include aeromodelling, computer vision, systems and algorithms.The Team works on building, designing and flying UAV's (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles) and perform various tasks like autonomous flying, object detection and avoidance, human detection, autonomous air drops and searching for targets various other complex tasks.The main focus of the team is an international competition AUVSI SUAS which is one of the world’s most prestigious unmanned aerial systems competitions.The team consists of 4 sub-teams:
1.Hardware & Piloting
2.Autopilot
3.Computer Vision
4.Communication
The team has a strength of around 30 student members out of which 7-8 members are selected on the basis of their performance for participating in the competitions.The team is currently supported by Infosys Center of Artificial Intelligence (CAI)-IIIT Delhi for funding purposes.

ScrapUncle is an on-demand platform for selling Electronic Waste and other Junk items in India. Users can schedule a doorstep pickup for their E-Waste and other Junk items like Papeer, Plastics, Metals, Cartons, etc. and get paid for the same.
In addition to our consumer facing app, we’ve built a lot of backend software specifically for the needs of re-commerce waste management. End to End tech stack for pickup, inventory, storage and traceability of Recyclables.
I started ScrapUncle during my college days in 2019 and have been working on it full time since early 2021.

Co-founded DroneMed - a startup in the field of unmanned aerial vehicles.
DronneMed received various awards and recognitions from organizations like DST, Tata Trusts, Indian Air Force, etc. including a grant of INR 10 Lakhs for the growth of our company.
DroneMed had the following unique selling points:
1. Our Vertical Takeoff & Landing(VTOL)-UAV (a UAV that is a combination of a quad-rotor drone and fixed-wing airplane).
2. Our Swarm system implementation (multiple UAVs flying at the same time and also coordinating among themselves).
DroneMed is halted as of now due to lack of proper drone regulations in India.
