Nupur Patny — Product Designer
I’m a UX Designer at Microsoft, building experiences for M365 mobile app. I take inspiration from the environment and stories of people to do social good. I started "It's Not My Fault" as an effort to end street sexual harassment against women. The idea of the app-based heat map to identify unsafe areas of Bangalore has been featured on national TV and in newspapers, such as Deccan Herald, The Indian Express, The Logical Indian and more. I am well versed in identifying user needs through both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies and have the ability to tailor-make innovative and creative solutions that cater to the affected user group and stakeholders. This has made me more equipped with designing for digital interfaces, applying HCI principles and UX methodologies to solve complex problems and understanding product requirements.
