I’ve spent over a decade diving deep into the world of education and technology, exploring how we can create meaningful experiences for learners of all ages. My journey has taken me from the bustling streets of Bangalore to various educational institutions across Eastern and South Africa. Each step along the way has fueled my passion for designing engaging adult learning experiences that not only teach but also inspire. In my current role at Chemonics International as a Senior Associate in Education Practice, I’m fortunate to work on projects that make a real difference. Recently, I led the development of a Comprehensive Learning Management System funded by USAID. This involved collaborating with talented teams to ensure our platform meets the diverse needs of learners while promoting both hard and soft skills development. It’s rewarding to see how technology can enhance education when thoughtfully applied. One of my proudest moments was during my time as Program Development Lead at YourPassion1st where I created comprehensive program plans that served as roadmaps for new members and guided our fundraising efforts. This experience taught me the importance of clear communication and strategic planning in driving successful educational initiatives. I also had the privilege of working with Google as a UX Research Associate where I learned firsthand how user-centered design impacts product development. This role solidified my belief that understanding user needs is crucial for creating effective educational tools. Outside of work, I enjoy facilitating workshops with UNLEASH where we brainstorm innovative solutions to global challenges through education.
