For the longest time, I thought I wanted to be a professional musician. Though i won't deny; that dream still nests in a junkyard somewhere in my head, I knew that I was looking for something else. I stumbled upon my first job at Accenture, moved into a new city, and didn't know anything about this corporate demogorgon (Stranger things pun). Fate struck when I was the sole person in about 1000, who got allocated to this extremely niche product team working on UI designs and JS frameworks for renovating a very mature freight & logistics product. And that's when it started - I got hooked. I loved every aspect of it - building wireframes and interactive prototypes, implementing responsive design principles, creating pretty dashboards. And that's how the spark for building products came about I love to dig into customer problems and build experiences that make people's lives better whilst delivering business value. I've had a variety of experiences which have taught me the following about myself. I can deliver and scale products from 0 to 10 and 10 to 100 - I put the customer at the center. Customer value equals money - I focus on win-win outcomes - I rely on data than my gut instinct I can align teams towards a shared vision - I like solving problems, but narrating such problems from user point of view creates shared empathy - Helping people reach their "optimal anxiety" sweet spot - It's the tech geek in me - Engineers and designers love me. Sales require more effort!! I am constantly learning and working on myself - I love experimenting with new products. Only downside is tracking the many trial accounts - I read a couple of books every month (wisdom iterations) - I still practice music everyday, working on evolving my technique and vocabulary - currently I'm learning the piano focusing on the bebop language. I'm always open for a chat about anything tech, product, music or even philosophy!!
