• Under the mentorship of Pramit Saha, I worked on a research project focused on parameter-efficient finetuning of large language models (LLMs) like GPT for text generation. The goal was to adapt pre-trained LLMs to specific tasks with minimal computational overheads using methods such as low-rank adaptation (LoRA), adapter layers, and prompt tuning. We integrated these techniques into the GPT architecture, optimizing model performance while reducing trainable parameters and computational costs.
