Hi, I’m Aayush, a data engineer by profession and an entrepreneur from heart. After completing my graduation in Computer Science & Engineering from R.V. College of Engineering, Bangalore I was hired as a Data Engineer at Citrix. It was there that I fell in love with the power of Data. As part of the Data Team at Citrix, I was involved in Data Warehouse Modelling and Design, BigData Technologies, Data Engineering, and Analytics. I also found myself interested in the overall architecture of the big data platform and started acquiring infrastructure awareness, exploring the length and breadth of the cloud and the optimization aspects that come along with it. Apart from my responsibility as a developer I was extremely proactive in innovation and always wanted to do something meaningful to help the business operate better. I spearheaded an innovation project called "Falcon", as part of a Hackathon where we built a platform providing a unified view of the customers by stitching together data from the different functions like Product, Sales, Marketing, Support and providing the most qualified leads to the Sales team for cross-selling and up-sell opportunities within the CRM. Falcon turned out to be a huge success being selected as a marquee idea and the implementation yielded benefits worth $2 million USD within a few weeks. It was with Falcon that I found my knack for entrepreneurship. My friends from school and I started exploring how we could help organizations scale with digital transformation to meet changing business and market requirements which led to us creating Grid. Grid is a no-code platform that allows businesses to build customized decision-making tools like data collection apps and workflow management solutions embedded with powerful analytics to accomplish their day-to-day activities and streamline their processes. At Grid, my role as the Chief Technology Officer is to lead the product and engineering teams and to fulfill all the technological needs of the company.
