This venture not only taught me the ropes of running a company but also solidified my reputation as a savvy entrepreneur. Upon graduating, I joined Zomato’s Growth team. Here, I was not just a team member but a driving force behind several critical projects. I began with Customer Success, ensuring users were delighted with their experience. I then moved on to the Dineout feature, enhancing the dining experience for countless users. One of my most innovative projects involved aggregating discarded waste oil to manufacture biodiesel, a sustainable solution that addressed both waste management and renewable energy. My final major contribution at Zomato was the creation of Hyperpure, a service providing high-quality ingredients to restaurants. After years of contributing to Zomato’s meteoric rise, I decided it was time for a new challenge. I joined IndiaMART, a leading B2B marketplace. Here, I delved into the intricacies of B2B commerce for the first time. I realised that credibility and trust were paramount in this domain, and that many small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) struggled with these aspects. I saw an opportunity to streamline this trust-deficient sector. I envisioned a platform where businesses could buy in bulk seamlessly, merging commerce with the discovery process. This vision led to the birth of Needibay. In less than a year, Needibay transformed from a mere concept into a thriving business. The platform quickly gained traction, clocking over $5 million in annual revenue. I'm on my path to scale Needibay at $50Mn+ in Annual Revenue in the next 3 years 🚀🚀
