From a very young age while other children ran around school fairs, I saw opportunity. I wasn't content just to play games—I wanted to create them. At every school event, I could be found setting up game stalls, understanding the nuances of what attracted my peers and how to keep them engaged. Little did I know, these early endeavours were laying the foundation for my future businesses. I went on to pursue B.tech but during my college, life brought a common problem for many students including me: laundry. Busy schedules and limited resources made it a tedious chore for most. I saw this as an opportunity. I founded an online laundry solution aimed specifically at my fellow students. What started as a small operation quickly grew into a profitable business, running successfully for three years. This venture not only taught me the ropes of running a company but also solidified my reputation as a savvy entrepreneur. Upon graduating, I joined Zomato’s Growth team. Here, I was not just a team member but a driving force behind several critical projects. I began with Customer Success, ensuring users were delighted with their experience. I then moved on to the Dineout feature, enhancing the dining experience for countless users. One of my most innovative projects involved aggregating discarded waste oil to manufacture biodiesel, a sustainable solution that addressed both waste management and renewable energy. My final major contribution at Zomato was the creation of Hyperpure, a service providing high-quality ingredients to restaurants. After years of contributing to Zomato’s meteoric rise, I decided it was time for a new challenge. I joined IndiaMART, a leading B2B marketplace. Here, I delved into the intricacies of B2B commerce for the first time. I realised that credibility and trust were paramount in this domain, and that many small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) struggled with these aspects. I saw an opportunity to streamline this trust-deficient sector. I envisioned a platform where businesses could buy in bulk seamlessly, merging commerce with the discovery process. This vision led to the birth of Needibay. In less than a year, Needibay transformed from a mere concept into a thriving business. The platform quickly gained traction, clocking over $5 million in annual revenue. I'm on my path to scale Needibay at $50Mn+ in Annual Revenue in the next 3 years 🚀🚀
