★ I am an Additive Manufacturing (AM) & Drones Researcher; my research area includes Additive Manufacturing, CNC, Laser, Automation, Rapid Casting, Drones and Manned Air Vehicles. ★ My most significant achievement was developing an indigenous Selective Laser Sintering Additive Manufacturing System (Sand Additive Manufacturing - SaAM) at 1/10th the cost of commercially available systems under the Make in India theme at Rapid Manufacturing Laboratory, Indian Institute of Technology Bombay. I have been involved from the idea generation stage to the technology transfer process. ★ Keeping a forward mind into future of mobility, I have significantly contributed to the development of Manned Multirotor System, which will prove to be air ambulance in the near future. We are also currently developing an Internal combustion engine based Multirotor Drone and also researching to synergize Hydrogen Fuel Cell technology to multirotor systems. Agricultural Drones are another field which interests me, I am also parallelly working on developing cost effective autonomous agriculture drone keeping Indian agricultural economy in mind. Further on I want to make Hybrid power system-based drones affordable to the market. ★ In my AM career, which began in 2013, We have developed an indigenous Hybrid Layered Manufacturing System as a Master's project at Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, Mumbai. I have also contributed to developing several Additive Manufacturing systems, viz., CO2 Gas, Fused Deposition Modeling, Multi-Station Multi-Axis Hybrid Layered Manufacturing System (MSMA-HLM) Sub-Zero AM (SAM), Electron Beam Hybrid Manufacturing - Powder (EBHM-P), Electron Beam Hybrid Manufacturing - Wire (EBHM-W), and Optimal - Laminated AM (Opti-LAM). ★ During my professional career, I have worked with several industry partners like GrindMaster Machines (Aurangabad), L&T (Mumbai), ZBT (Mumbai), Automech Systems (Mumbai), SigmaWeld (Mumbai), NGen Control Systems (Pune), Advanced Mechanical Services (Bangalore), Jayshree Machine Tools (Mumbai), Beckhoff Automation (Pune), Trilok Lasers (Pune) and many more at the R&D level. ★ I desire to continue research in Drones, Additive Manufacturing and allied technologies.
