In 2023, I joined Rainmatter, bringing my D2C experience to help their portfolio companies grow. What started as a consulting role has evolved organically into a full-time position that I truly enjoy. I'm happy to have to found a company whose values align with mine. Before this, I spent 5 incredible years building India Hemp & Co. from the ground up. Being part of category-creation and shaping an entire ecosystem was a once-in-a-lifetime experience! It pushed me outside my comfort zone - from pitching (and getting aired) on Shark Tank India Season 1 to becoming a confident public speaker. The lessons I learned as a founder have been priceless. As founders know, the team and bills come first, and you often pay yourself last. My time with Zerodha and Rainmatter has given me a whole new perspective on how to make money work for you, not just because of you. One area I’m deeply passionate about is women and finance. Financial freedom is essential for lasting change, and women should have the tools to create and manage their own wealth. I can’t remember any of my whatsapp groups sharing information on wealth creation or wealth management - and I now wonder why. Having experienced both sides of the table, I’m excited to contribute meaningfully to this space.
