With over 30 years of experience in the IT industry, Praveen Kumar Kalbhavi is a seasoned leader known for his expertise in large-scale program management and client engagement for global and Fortune 500 clients. As the Co-Founder, Managing Director, and CEO of Novigo Solutions, Praveen has been instrumental in driving the company’s growth and success. Under his leadership, Novigo Solutions has expanded its operations across the USA, UAE, Singapore, India, KSA and Europe, growing the team to over 900 professionals. Praveen’s vision to transform Novigo into a globally recognized digital service provider has led to the company achieving CMM Level 3 certification and ISO 27001 and ISO 9001 standards. Before founding Novigo Solutions, Praveen held significant roles at Infosys, including Associate Vice President and Senior Delivery Manager in the Retail Business Unit, handling clients from both USA & Europe. He was responsible for delivery across multiple development centers in India for this business unit. He also led the Mangalore Development Center of Infosys, which housed 6 large business units & a workforce of around 4,000 people. For the twenty years prior to forming Novigo, he served as AVP and Senior Delivery Manager for Infosys US and Europe Retail Business Unit and was also Head of Mangalore Development Centre which housed 6 Large Business Units and a workforce of around 4,000 people. Additionally, he has served as the Chairman of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Mangalore, where he played a pivotal role in advancing the local industry. Praveen is deeply passionate about fostering the IT ecosystem in Mangalore. He is an active member of the Kanara Chamber of Commerce & Industry (KCCI), CII, Karnataka Digital Economy Mission (KDEM), and TiE Mangalore. His commitment to the region’s growth is evident through his continuous efforts to promote innovation and entrepreneurship. As an Angel Investor with multiple VCs/groups, he leverages his extensive experience in technology and business management to guide and propel startups in the tech industry. He is also actively involved in strengthening the education system being part of several BOS(Board of Studies) of various educational institutions around. Praveen holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science & Technology from Bangalore University.
