I have had diverse experience across businesses from software (i2 Technologies in Dallas), luxury watches (LVMH in India), financial advisory services (Kotak Wealth Management), offshore hedge funds (Edelweiss Capital) and real estate (Brokers Please Excuse and Edelweiss Real Estate). I returned to India in 2002 after having lived and worked extensively in South Korea, Malaysia and the United States. The decade that followed (2002 onwards) was probably the best decade that one could have chosen to live and work in India. Looking ahead from here, I am very excited about the next decade and think it will truly be the coming of age of our country. I hope to find exciting opportunities to participate in this process of national growth and development.

Kenneth Serrao has over 16 years of experience across a diverse set of businesses and geographies.
From consulting ( Consultant with i2 Technologies in Seoul, Singapore, Penang, Dallas, Kansas, New York and Chicago) to selling luxury watches (Tag Heuer and Christian Dior with LVMH, India) to wealth management (5 years with Kotak Mahindra in Mumbai and Dubai) to setting up an Indian hedge fund for global investors (5 years heading sales for the USD 440 Mn IDF hedge fund at Edelweiss Capital) to setting up his own real estate startup called Brokers Please Excuse (2011-2015), Kenneth has had a unique career that helps him understand businesses in the multi-disciplinary manner that we practice at Alpha Capital.
Kenneth is an alumnus of IIM-A (Cultural Secretary, 1998-2000 batch). Prior to his management degree, Ken graduated in Mechanical Engineering from NITK, Suratkal (formerly KREC) in 1998. Kenneth is an Army kid who did his schooling in 9 different cities across India. He is extremely passionate about technology, test cricket and financial markets
