Anomaly Detection and System-Level Performance Analysis
Created a system to detect anomalies in k8s pod metrics such as memory usage, cpu usage, tomcat threads.
Created a light weight anomaly detection algorithm Grubbs’ test-based statistical methods.
Mapped anomalies to logs in graylog to identify causes, using a multi-threaded approach to correlate to logs.
Utilized custom ML algorithms for log analysis and developed a REST controller to facilitate service interaction.
Used Apache Kafka to address TCP timeouts and improving performance with a thread pool for analyzing logs.
