Exposure in development of Tubing (metallic pipe, high pressure pipe, steering pipes, exhaust pipe), rubber(Hose,pad,oil seal,o-ring, grommet,) etc ? Design and technical feasibility review at initial stage of new part. ? Establishing time span of project execution as per client specification. ? Bifurcate time line for stage concept Alpha, Beta & SOP. ? Identify vendor capacity mapping for production and process verification. ? Forecast material ,rubber requirement plans to manage the MRP scheduled system and inventory of the parts procured. ? Responsible for Material and rubber cost reduction, SOB Management, Schedule adherence, price negotiation, Logistics selection, packaging and tracking of the parts procured. ? Maintaining optimum inventory for outstation as well as for local supplier parts .Also involve in VAVE for analyzing previous designs and improving them. ? Responsible for sample trial and feedback for ECN, if required. ? Involved in PPAP activity for robustness of process and part quality. ? Monitoring the part effectiveness till ramp-up and responsible for handling supplier concern. ? Development of tool Jigs and fixture and timely tooling payment. ? Identifies area of obstructions in quality failure, advising in system for qualitative improvement. ? Ensuring high quality of all new components as per design standard and fitment. ? Performing root cause analysis and follow-up with supplier for corrective action (CAPA). ? Responsible for ISA close and handover part to SCM team.
