Riyazul is an accomplished Architect and Sustainable-Urban-Designer with five years of diverse experience in India and abroad. He specializes in technical and urban-design expertise and has made significant contributions to prestigious Multinational funded Smart-City Projects, sustainable-urban infrastructure development, urban-design ventures, master-planning, heritage-conservation, and urban-policy formulation. His work also includes successful involvement in skyscraper projects, commercial architectural and interior-design ventures in India, Europe, and the USA. In 2022, Riyazul was honored as a YUDAP Fellow by Institut-Francaise-India in partnership with ENSA-PV Paris and the Ministry of Ecological Transition-Government of France. During this fellowship, he served as an Urban-Designer at CroMe Studio-Paris, playing a key role in major skyscraper and sustainable urban-design projects. These projects involved developing Master-Plans for Paris and Lyon, designing the Driverless Rapid-Bus-System for RATP-Paris, creating Social-Housing for SAMPA, and contributing to the Master-Plan for the Olympic Games Village in Paris-2024, among others across Europe. Later, in 2021, Riyazul joined Ujjain Smart City Limited as an Urban-Designer, coordinating the CITIIS Project under the Smart-City-Mission, which received funding from the European-Union and AFD-France. In this role, he contributed significantly to urban-planning, poverty alleviation, infrastructure-development, gender-equality, and inclusive development. He also engaged in public-consultations, high-level meetings, and stakeholder-consultations, leading to notable successes for USCL in various MoHUA-Challenges under the Smart-City-Mission and Swachh-Bharat-Mission. Throughout his career, Riyazul has honed his expertise in consulting, data-collection, and comprehensive plan formulation for urban-development projects with a strong focus on sustainability. He has actively collaborated on projects in various regions of India and Europe, contributing to the fields of urban-planning, infrastructure-development, placemaking, heritage-conservation, riverfront-development, public-green-space development, urban-parks, public-transportation, and clean-energy initiatives.
