• Founding engineer and handled the backend for all the verticals in the company.
• Integrated the company’s systems with 5 of the country’s largest retail clients. Was involved in the end to end process from pre-sales, planning, development to rollout. Made up for 30% of the company’s ARR.
• Designed and optimised the Promotions engine algorithm, decreasing the time complexity from O(n^m) to O(n^3). A calculation that took 3 minutes (or even hours), now takes less than 5 secs. The engine, which was once a bottleneck for signing deals with large retail clients, is now one of the best in the domain.
• Worked on the architecture and design of the cataloguing system for the cafeteria vertical which has now scaled to 60k daily recurring orders, handling peak loads of 200+ IOPS
• Architected and built the inventory management system responsible for handling the stock for nearly a million SKUs across large retailers and SMEs. Has been built such that any new client integration could be done in minutes.
• Designed & built the backend for an offline first, handheld POS system (called UltraPOS Mobile), which was a critical enabler for serving customers in poor network areas.
• Led the backend team of Desktop based PoS system (a new vertical called UltraPOS Desktop), which is now a crucial product of the company and is predicted to be a replacement to all the existing desktop based PoS systems.

• Devised an intuitive algorithm which focused on various parameters to compute the quality score for
• the reviews that are received by the system on a daily basis.
