• In DMRC, I had worked on a variety of infrastructure, residential and healthcare projects achieving full spectrum experience of delivering the projects from conceptual stage, project execution till revenue operations.
• Ensured on timely delivery of complex projects such as MRTS stations; 11 underground, 36 elevated stations located in Delhi and Kochi, Kerala; over a period of 9 years. I navigated the project through massive design changes due to land issues (finding of archeological remains) and integration issues (Converting an under-construction line-station to an interchange station) without impacting timelines.
• Curtailed the time overrun to 3 months while deputed to the healthcare project (i.e. ILBS hospital - deposit work with DMRC), by expediting the system installation work through design review and constructability assessment in consultation with the systems contractors.
• Prepared and Implemented the Multimodal Integration (MMI) schemes at all MRTS station preventing traffic congestion near the entry/exits, providing better ‘last mile connectivity’ and easing commuter journey.
• Showcased the benefit of Building Information Modelling (BIM) for the interface between various systems (nearly 15 disciplines) through a pilot project in 2014; resulting in initiation of BIM adoption program by the organization.
• Drafted, managed and executed ‘Artworks’ and ‘Signage works’ for the heritage line (having historical station location such as Jama Masjid, Red Fort, Kashmere Gate and Dilli Gate).
• As a certified LEED Accredited professional, contributed towards design development and documentation for ‘Green Certification’ leading to platinum rating (highest possible) for all MRTS stations commissioned beyond 2014 and ILBS hospital. Received a Group award in 2017 for contribution towards DMRC’s ‘Green’ initiatives.
