Designed micro-services of Visa Lob for B2C customers : Enhanced security, encrypted customer data, data model & implemented caching mechanism resulting in a 40% reduction in latency.
Developed a system to manage master data, supporting synchronous as well as asynchronous data ingestion ( ~500 request/hr). Validation rules of the ingested data can be modified in run time dynamically.
Developing microservices orchestrating all MMT & GOIBIBO bookings, processing millions of daily data ( ~15 packets/sec) via Kafka. These packets undergo reactive ingestion & subsequently
produced to LOB specific consumers for processing.
Architected an archiving pipeline to store data in AWS S3. Integrated Athena & Crawler to query or fetch data.
Crafted features like :-
Integrated Redis at the gateway level to de-duplicate packets, resulting in a 20% reduction in computational load.
Asynchronous API to storing requests & responses. Also created generic logging mechanism to capture requests received.
A generic service in springboot aggregating similar services in one.
Used apache’s Airflow for notifying, report generation, data recon.
Strategized and carried out the migration of all the services from dedicated servers to AWS EC2 instances through Dockerization
