Here I built a brutal resilience and learnt how to show up even when it felt uncomfortable. With limited life experience and big dreams I relentlessly attended auditions and castings I felt under qualified for and faced multiple rejections- But I did manage to score some awesome jobs, working with Revlon, The BodyShop, Robbie Williams, MTV & Swatch just to name a few. After becoming a single parent at 21 I went 'back to school' to study business management alongside working full-time and holding down a Saturday job! (literally don't know how I did that now). I got a proper job in Account Management, then moved into Sales - which I loved and that's when I started using LinkedIn and outperforming others who had been in my industry for much longer using personal branding & social selling to open new accounts. In 2019 I decided to launch a LinkedIn marketing business, and then following that invested in creating my own brand - Carter Bags. This then become a main focus. I launched CarterBags.com on shoestring budget and have generated thousands of sales through organic LinkedIn marketing. I launched CarterBags.com to solve the age old problem of not being able to find a practical and stylish ladies’ laptop bags which are also chic. Through growing my own e-Commerce business I have developed a wealth of knowledge around digital marketing including personal branding, social media, social selling, SEO, Shopify design & build, product design, analytics and I also have an extensive background in sales. Which naturally led to the re-launch of the greatly improved MadAsaBoxOfFrogs.co.uk my marketing agency. I now have a few investments but my main passion is marketing!
