• Product: Launch New Payment Methods for enabling customers to buy their Prime, Prime Video only
• and Channels subscriptions as well as Rent & Buy.
• Worked on the PayCode payment method in Mexico, enabling cash payments for Prime and Channel
• subscriptions via barcodes generated at signup for use at convenience stores. Developed and optimized the
• barcode generation and rendering logic, using Java concurrency and parallelization to handle creation of
• multiple subscriptions/barcodes simultaneously, significantly reducing processing time.
• Launched the iDeal payment method in the Netherlands, allowing customers to pay for their Prime and
• Channel subscriptions using iDeal. Within the first 6 months, we observed a 100% increase in sign-ups for Prime and Channels using the iDeal payment method.
• Worked on implementing support for credit card installment-based payment methods in Prime Video
• financial systems. Worked on fixup experience for customer. Project led to an increase of ARR 80 million
• USD.
• Mentored SDEs and led multiple learning sessions to enhance team skills. Improved the Payment
• Method launch process by developing SOPs, implementing monitoring dashboards, and reviewing launch
• documents.

• Led the project to enable Prime Video local currency subscriptions in over 10 countries, allowing
• customers to pay in their local currencies rather than USD or EUR. Worked with 15+ teams to introduce
• local currency options, update the Prime Video UI, onboard new payment processors, and ensure tax
• compliance. This initiative achieved a 50% increase in sign-up traffic within three months of launch.
• Enabled Pessimistic fulfillment in LATAM countries, granting subscription benefits only after payment
• to reduce churn rates. This approach addressed issues where customers would sign up, receive benefits,
• and then have their subscription canceled due to payment failures.

• Team: Part of Prime Video Language Experience (aka Prime Video International Expansion).
• Product : Localization Central Portal - A workflow order management portal having submitter and
• vendor portal which provides seamless experience for order management of subtitles, metadata, captions,
• SDH, Audio Description creation/review/translation jobs.
• Implemented Push Events/Notifications for the ATP Marketplace Platform to give vendors real-time
• updates on their order status, eliminating manual page refreshes. Conducted multiple POCs to assess
• performance, maintainability, and compatibility of various solutions.
• Worked on enabling Audio Description (AD) creation workflow on Asset Translation Platform (ATP) for
• Prime Video Catalog and became industry first OTT platform to provide large range of English AD to
• our customers.
