• Worked on a mix of internal an user facing services.
• 1. Client Middleware: A collection of microservices that made up our backend-for-frontend infrastructure. It was part of the effort to migrate business logic from UI to backend and implement thin clients. I worked on the redesigned app, including both data layer and presentation layer of the application.
• 2. Guardian: Implemented a service that can ingest data from partners and generate user friendly reports highlighting any dirty data or anomalies. This proved very useful in ensuring that our systems don't ingest a corrupt electronic program guide and helping us fast track the onboarding new OTT partners.
• 3. Kamikaze: An in-house load testing system. It is responsible for running load tests on the client middleware systems and was customized to hook into our CI-CD pipelines, publishing reports to corresponding JIRA issues and blocking a poor build where necessary.
