• The data that exists out there is a dark and wild place. This makes ingesting it cleanly a colossal pain in the ass for developers everywhere.
• We are doubling down on the importance of the overall feelings and perceptions a developer has as they attempt to solve this problem once and for all with Flatfile.
• In my new role, I will assemble a team of engineers who will serve other engineers. This team will be comprised of people who care about the code, and about the engineers who’ll use it.
• My promise to Flatfile is an unwavering commitment to explaining what we’re doing, and why we’re doing it, and before we’re ever asked. Both within our engineering team and for our customers.

• As Head of Marketing at Flatfile, I was charged with leading Marketing's entire body of work, including a multi-million dollar budget and finding our first CMO.
• During this time, performance (marketing-contributed pipeline) increased by 220% while efficiency improved with a pipe per dollar spent increase of 260%.
• We also launched a new brand (w/o agency), a new website (w/o agency), became a leader in our category at G2, and underwent a $50m Series B fundraise and subsequent press cycle. Our Series B press was picked up by 50+ news channels, including TechCrunch, Crunchbase, Forbes, and Cheddar news.

• The customer's journey in your product is a living, breathing, evolving experience that is chock full of levers to pull for growth. And with product-led growth specifically, what you can unlock is utterly massive.
• Though often an afterthought, the first mile of the customer journey is an important priority at all stages of a product’s maturity. In my new role at Flatfile as Head of Growth Design, I will obsess over a product-led go-to-market strategy, with an acute focus on the first mile of the user's experience.

• Lumenad was acquired by Pathlabs, an MiQ company.
• A global, collaborative UX team played a significant part in LumenAd being ranked #29 by Inc. Magazine on its 2019 list of the 5,000 fastest-growing private companies. (three-year revenue growth of 7,212.5%) Actually, we received many awards in a similar vein.
• Since 2017, I’ve led the UX team - working tirelessly to decipher what users truly need from what they’re saying. UX acts as a partner to the Prod & Eng teams, running side-by-side with them to find the best solutions. On the Growth team, we obsess over the customer journey - from sign up, to finding value quickly through onboarding, to loving the product and becoming an advocate of the brand.
• We are prototyping and building components with React, Material UI, D3, Chart.js, PHP, & JSS and designing with Figma, CSS, and Illustrator.

• Fi360 was acquired by Broadridge Financial Solutions, Inc.
• At Fi360, I led a global front-end engineering team as an independent contributor. This team was a powerhouse - we were ridiculously efficient & effective thanks to our bulletproof UI component library. The streamlined user interface in the Fi360 platform continues to be a major part of their value proposition to “simplify meeting fiduciary principles for financial advisors”.

• At WVU, I managed an engineering team for university web applications leveraged on campus, in virtual learning, and at the hospital.
• I was also enrolled in a master’s degree program while employed here. It was sincerely the most life-giving experience.
• Prototyped & developed with Java, AngularJS, HTML5, CSS3 & NodeJS.

• A member of the exec team, I led a team to build custom solutions for several national clients (Nike, Motorola, etc) on various front-end software needs - particularly identity management focused.
• Developed for Oracle Identity Manager, Ping Identity, and open source using advanced and creative CSS implementations to whitelabel out of the box products.

• At Fedex, I was employed as a software developer on the core identity team & a Java mentor in Corporate Education. I held classes to assist engineers moving from procedural languages on to Java. The Java courses began first and foremost with object-oriented concepts.
• Upon integrating FedEx Freight and FedEx National LTL into one company, my team received the CIO Magazine 100 award for the “highest level of operational and strategic excellence in information technology”. I was also personally inducted to the Fedex IT Hall of Fame that year for outstanding service to our internal business end users.

• In 2005, at the age of 19, I discovered my passion for software development. Eager to learn and gain experience, I embarked on a journey offering my services to anyone willing to engage. Initially focusing on website and email design and development, I collaborated with numerous advertising agencies.
• Fast forward almost twenty years, and my journey has been one of continuous growth and evolution. Along the way, I've had the privilege of working with a spectrum of clients, from industry giants like Walmart, Nike, Blackboard, and Motorola, to lesser-known brands such as Mrs. Dash and 7 Brew. Oh, and I can’t forget the prestigious Oxford University.
• This diverse experience has enriched my skills and broadened my perspective, shaping me into the engineer I am today.
