We built Skillarena - Bharat ka Apna Skill Development Platform to make quality upskilling affordable and accessible for youngsters of India, especially those who come from tier2 and tier3 cities and have limited access to quality skilling solutions, limiting them from being market-ready.
Over 2 years of reducing the skilling gap between campuses and corporates, we acquired over 25k paying users and skilled over 100k youngsters in 72 Indian cities, with an average monthly user growth of 68%, able to do this all organically with no marketing, makes us a unique skill tech startup and is a clear parameter of our strong NPS.
We were on an annualised run-rate of 80lakhs in revenue while remaining bootstrapped before we put a hold on the operations to build the next #big thing.
Skillarena also received many awards and mentions and the most notable of all has to be the "Best Skill Development Startup Award" from WASME, MSME India and NASSCOM.
