• Led European Accessibility Act (EAA) compliance initiative, resolving 70 accessibility issues in 90 days, making the team first to
• achieve this milestone in the organization, while ensuring global accessibility compliance per the Senior Leadership 2024 goal
• Served as the primary SDE, ensuring all post Add-To-Cart experiences were accessibility compliant as required by the EU directive,
• catering to the 10% of Amazon customers who rely on accessibility features.
• Developed Auto-collapse BottomSheet feature for “Add-to-Cart” confirmations, eliminating empty recommendation space
• and resolving the disjointed experience for 15K (1%) of 1.5 million hourly cases with empty recommendation responses.
• This feature was adopted by the Pharmacy UX team to collapse the bottom sheet for Deleterious medical product recommen-
• dations, mitigating a major legal risk while they develop a compliant upsell strategy.
• Fixed Critical Add-to-Cart Issue which occurred when “Add-to-Cart” triggered a file download popup instead of rendering the
• intended post Add-to-Cart experience, due to missing JavaScript assets required for client-side request handling
• Introduced a scalable default fallback experience as page transition when JavaScript assets were unavailable, mitigating a critical
• blocker for cross-team migration to our JavaScript library.
• Experiments (A/B testing experiments): Conducted US GL Exclusion experiment by suppressing the bottomSheet for certain
• groupLine ASINs, leveraging insights from prior tests to validate potential gains in user engagement and business metrics
• Aligned “Add-to-Cart” buttons at uniform horizontal level in recommendation carousels, improving UI clarity and visual design
• Removed mobile haptic feedback, addressing a common App Store discontent and improved user satisfaction
