• DDC is a suit of technologies solutions that will “pick, pack and ship” video or music content from content creators to theaters, smart phones, tablets and other platforms and digital devices in multiple formats, languages and with advertising, subtitles, logos etc. inserted. By storing and configuring content using Verizon’s most reliable network, we’re able to handle distribute end-to-end for content creators and retailers- and still be a more affordable solution than their current providers. DDC features a fully- automated workflow engine, a unified end-to-end distribution solutions, high-volume transactional utility, a secure and fault-tolerant distribution infrastructure, and any-to-day adaptable technology platform.
• Roles and Responsibilities
• 1. Handled DDC Core Foundation which is the gateway of DDC Core System. Sophisticated APIs are being developed using EJB 3.0 to design workflows, submit work orders, collect and publish execution status updates, mediate billing/reporting transactions and central data repository. It also manages and maintains assets and catalog repository.
• 2. Developed Web service APIs using Rational Application Developer.
• 3. Bug fixing and troubleshooting of Application on Unix environment (including checking logs, folder permissions)
• 4. Testing of Web Services using SOAP UI tools.
• 5. Communicating with Onsite team for queries related to Internal Requests and application functionality.
• 6. Providing Knowledge sharing sessions to new team members and external team like UI
