• Air pollution is one of the major concern of any country. India, with its alarming environment
• condition in Delhi, is also facing same issue. We propose to make a system which constantly
• monitors the pollution content of an area, and report any alarming situation to the concerned
• authorities. Gas sensors constantly keeps pushing data, hence a lot of irrelevent data is being
• generated. So, we will be using Minifi—which will be installed near sensors, making the process of
• data filtering and data transformation real time. Further, these filtered data is fed to Apache Nifi and
• then to some other real time data computation model like Spark/Storm (Both are suitable in this
• case.).

• The goal of the project is to capture the "Dangerous Truck Events" on road and report it to appropriate authorities in real-time. The geolocation information from trucks are combined with sensor data from trucks and roads. These sensors report real-time events like speeding, lane-departure, unsafe tailgating, and unsafe following distances.Now, this crucial information needs a real-time processing to detect "Dangerous Truck Events" and further actions should be real-time too. An architecture is built to serve this purpose. Major technologies used are Apache Nifi, Apache Kafka and Apache Storm.
