About

I spent my career as an early employee at tech startups, including Engine Yard, New Relic, and HashiCorp, focused on building their developer communities. I joined HashiCorp in early 2015 when it was just ten of us in a tiny office in SoMa and stayed through the IPO in 2021, building community programs that helped make tools like Terraform, Vault, Consul, Packer, and Nomad widely known and loved by developers used by millions around the world. These days, I have the privilege of being an investor at TQ Ventures — a lean, intentionally under-the-radar firm, but a mighty one, with over $1.5B in assets under management We’re investing from our third fund of $500M backing early and mid-stage companies. We’re doing things a bit differently at TQ, and founders tend to like our style.
