At Metvy we are building a learning and mentorship ecosystem driven by Cohort Based Courses and Communities. Open Courses have a very low course completion rate (3%), insignificant outcomes, negligible personalisation and low networking opportunities - Cohort Based Courses (CBC) solve this through its peer to peer learning model, live mentorship and data driven personalisation resulting in high course completion rates (70%) and stronger networking opportunities. However, most CBCs are expensive ($800 avg). Secondly mentors in India neither have the time or bandwidth to run and manage these cohorts themselves. At Metvy we offer low cost CBCs (avg $50) and use multi-mentor framework to make this happen - further leveraging active learning communities for a stronger funnel and long term moat.
