I went from treating patients in white coats to designing them. Hi, I’m Pooja, a doctor-turned-entrepreneur and the founder of Powersutra, a homegrown brand born out of a simple idea: every woman deserves well-fitted, powerful clothes, no matter her size, shape, or style. I took the leap during COVID, starting Powersutra from my living room with just one master and two tailors. From packing orders at home to reaching an ARR of 9cr, this journey has been all heart, hustle, and a whole lot of learning. We’ve served 1.5lac+ customers across India and built a growing team, all while bootstrapping from scratch. I’ve completed the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Women Program and a fellowship at IIM Bangalore, where I deep-dived into finance and business building. Along the way, I’ve learned how to build lean, sell smart, stay rooted in purpose and I share that journey here.
