Spent 4 years at the prime of my career in spiritual pursuit. Completely devoted to the quest, this time was spent in spiritual places- ashrams and monasteries- across the country including a 3500km walk (without phone or money) along the banks of river Narmada known as the Narmada Parikrama.
This was the most enriching time which came to a completion when I found my guru in Sri Ramana Maharshi who lived in the holy town of Tiruvannamalai. This is where I currently reside.

I joined YourStory when it was a team of 3 people. Having worked for Tata Technologies for a few months, I joined Shradha Sharma's vision for YourStory as a writer. It was 2010 and 'startup' was not even a word, so everything had to be built from scratch and we were learning on the go. I ended up writing more than 1500 start up stories, being part of the team organizing TechSparks, India's largest tech conference and much more. I also got the experience of building editorial teams and got insights into the world of venture capital. My personal journey led me to question a lot of norms in the material world and I shifted to Himachal Pradesh in 2014 and in turn, it brought me to a point where I left YourStory in 2016 when it was a team of 100 and growing rapidly. I owe a lot to YourStory for the experience, connections and real world intelligence it gave me. And ofcourse, the team at YourStory will always be family. Thank you Shradha, and everyone.
