Leading a team of 50 engineers including engineering managers for adopting the Walmart Connect Ads platform for all banners within International markets such as Mexico, Canada and Chile and building additional capabilities both on Supply and Demand side based on the business needs of these markets.
• Head of Engineering of Walmart Commerce Technologies organization in India and is responsible for commercializing state of the art home grown commerce solutions across domains such as Fulfilment, Transportation and Advertising of Walmart to other businesses. Built the 30 member team including senior engineering managers from scratch within a period of 4 months and contributed to the launch and readiness of MVP version of Fulfilment Shipping, AdTech Sponsored Products and Common Authentication Services with multi-tenancy and other necessary adapters to the core products for customer integrations.

• Functional Engineering leadership for a group of 60 team members including engineering managers building a generic communication platform. The platform had a studio to onboard and design communications in a no-code self served fashion and a Tier-0 multi-tenant delivery backend with 99.999% reliability and availability. Volume of communications sent daily was around 30+ Million with throughput of close to 100K requests per minute across channels such as Email, PUSH, SMS, Voice and In-app notifications to Walmart customers, associates and drivers. The platform is used across multiple markets such as US, Canada, Mexico and South Africa and by groups such as Ecomm, Pharmacy, SAMS, Store Operations and many more. Team also builds communications for US Order Life Cycle use cases to provide best customer experience and create a positive impact to GMV.

Launched the new platform as part of the program Glass where Walmart merged Grocery and General Merchandise into a single experience. Completed migration from monolith legacy platform to the v2 platform.
