• Qubole - Jupyter Notebooks
• Jupyter Notebooks is the most popular open-source web-based notebook interface for data analytics.
• At Qubole I've been one of the core members responsible for integrating JupyterLab and Jupyter Notebooks with QDS and developed first-class features specific to apache spark. I'm currently working full time on this project and as a team member of jupyter dev, my responsibilities include developing new features, maintaining existing features, and also watching out for customer escalations.

• Qubole - Apache Zeppelin
• It is an open-source Web-based notebook that enables data-driven, interactive data analytics and collaborative documents with SQL, Scala. Qubole notebooks use apache zeppelin for notebooks implementation. We have heavily customized zeppelin for our requirements. As a part of the notebooks team, I have developed new features, fixed existing bugs and helped with implementing customer-requested features. I have also extensively worked closely with the product team and the UX team to develop a whole new UI and create a better user experience for zeppelin.
• Qubole - First Class Notebooks
• FCN is the QDS wrapper around our apache zeppelin implementation. which has its own set of features like the ability to create multiple directories letting the end-user organize their notebooks. I have worked on both the UI and API level to develop and maintain QDS FCN Notebooks.
• Qubole - Package Manager
• Before this was developed, it was a nightmare for customers to add dependencies for your queries and notebooks. I and a colleague of mine worked on this idea to develop a single platform where everyone can manage their dependencies easily. I wrote the UI and some API level work, my colleague did the engine level work.
• Example Notebooks Portal
• This is a stand-alone portal that would let the product and marketing team upload example notebooks for the end customer. This portal was solely developed and maintained by me, it was a stand-alone rails application. High Point - I was appraised by the CTO for developing this portal within a couple of weeks. Low point - I had to give this project up to the Growth Team who is now responsible for maintaining this portal.

• As a part of the UI team, I was responsible for developing new features and maintain existing features for
• the sass platform
• QDS Scheduler
• The QDS scheduler allows the user to configure jobs and specify the intervals at which they run, and
• provides additional capabilities that make it a powerful tool for workflow automation.
• As a part of the UI team, I worked on developing the UI and API parts of the QDS Scheduler.
• QDS Home page
• The Home page is where you get some basic overview of your account on which clusters are active,
• how many schedule jobs are running etc. I've developed this part of the web application and was responsible to maintain it.
• QDS Analyze
• Its the most widely used part of the sass platform, the data analyst persona solely relies on QDS
• Analyze to run their ad-hoc queries.
• I was responsible for developing a few key features for this part of the sass platform like
• autocomplete and logs error and warning highlighting and syntax highlighting for the editor.
• Help Center
• The help center before I joined Qubole was pretty outdated, I got to work with the UX team and
• come up with a new help center, we added a couple of cool new features like integrating google
• custom search which would search our documentation website for answers. Adding new API
• support for zendesk, so that customers can now directly raise tickets from the help center inside the
• sass application.
• Glue Work at Qubole
• At Qubole I did a lot of glue work like figuring out a reliable, fast and easy way to run the sass
• the application natively on OSX without using virtual machines and documenting and sharing this with
• colleagues.
