• Co-authored a critical infrastructure configuration service that scaled to 100k+ connections and propagated config changes < 500ms across 25k bare metals in a data center.
• It was highly available with tiered caching while remaining strongly consistent.
• The service was set up on commodity hardware.
• Log-Service:
• Led a 585 nodes Hadoop cluster with a Kafka pipeline to ingest logs from 3k services in Flipkart across 10k VMs.
• The storage was close to 8 PBs, with the query engine returning data in a few seconds.
• Wrote a patch for the Hive ORC file to support more rows per segment.

• I worked on a project to create a survey infrastructure. We followed XP principles, the interface to create surveys was written in Backbone.js and the APIs were written in Rails. We also created an Oauth server for authentication. Finally, we created an cross platform app using Titanium to collect data on mobile phones.
• As the project went on, we had to deal with offline mobile and web integration in the stack. We also dealt with lot of performance issues both on the mobile and web side of the project as large amount of data was being collected.
• I worked on the back-end component (evaluating untrusted code in a sandboxed environment) of RubyMonk/PythonMonk.
