About

Engineer, Coder, and now an Entrepreneur. I am experienced in Software Engineering through my Masters in Computer and Electrical Engineering from Boston University, and my 3 years stint in Cerner Corporation. A few years back, an idea came to me while on a walk with my partner Piyusha Gupta. This idea was very simple, I wished there was a way my life as a software engineer could be simplified. I didn't want to worry about the reporting requirements that came with my work, I didn't want to run after my manager whenever I wanted to know about testing requirements used by different teams. And I definitely wanted a clear way of knowing what was going on with my contributions after I had done my part and merged with the master. We discussed this in length and that evening, booked a ticket back home to India with a plan to become entrepreneurs. Our vision is to help every employee and employer simplify their work while knowing the benefits their contributions make to their companies and to support companies by minimizing the efforts required for all reporting and monitoring requirements. I hope to one day be an influencer in the Tech industry, and back the development of technologies that elevate the world we all share and love.

KaizIQ is a WhatsApp-enabled collaboration and Task Management tool designed for new-age businesses and industry leaders.
It helps businesses to easily plan and delegate tasks, manage timelines, bring teams together, and monitor progress with alerts, dashboards, and reports. Businesses can effortlessly manage and track the status of all tasks and employees with our user-friendly platform and AI-powered WhatsApp BOT.
As a co-founder, I wear multiple hats, the primary one is of a Product Architect, Technical Lead, and Full
Stack Developer.
So far, I have led a rotating team (of more than 35) to create an enterprise-level software.
KaizIQ has pivoted 3 times – First, it was an SDLC automation tool, then, it was an Integration Analytics
tool, and finally, it became a WhatsApp BOT-powered Project Management tool.
KaizIQ has been developed in the micro-service architecture. The primary tech stack for KaizIQ is Java,
ReactJs, and Oracle SQL with a peripheral tech stack of Springboot and RabbitMQ. It’s been deployed using Docker on Reserved Linux AWS servers, the access for which has been closely controlled by Security
Groups. The domain and sub-domains are controlled via Route-53 and Load-balancers with HTTPS
encryption.
It has had modules that perform task management, ticketing (separate portals for employees and
clients), email notifications, and a WhatsApp BOT that can be used to control the entire application.
Throughout its lifetime, I have integrated KaizIQ with multiple third-party tools personally and through my team – WhatsApp, Open AI (Chat GPT), Github, Email Providers (Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail, Custom Company Emails), Postman, Jira, Clickup and AWS Servers.
As the primary support personnel, I have had many nights and weekends spent resolving the unfortunate
bug, or deploying the high-priority feature request. Talking with potential and existing clients has been an integral part of this job (with all the drama that comes with it).

Cerner corporation

Software Engineer

Cerner (Oracle) is a healthcare company that has over 30,000 associates in 26 countries worldwide and is one of the biggest healthcare companies in the world.
My team and I were focused on insurance claims for the patients. After a patient is done with their treatments and procedures, They receive their bill along with the calculated insurance claim. The claim is calculated per the governmental standards, and the patient can then compare the claim with their insurance providers.
I worked on the following: -
Worked in the head office of the Revenue Cycle Service – Claims Management Department.
Completely refactored the entire Claims application (7 micro-services) from Java 6 to Java 8 Springboot.
Single-handedly created Docker Scripts for Swarm deployment of all these micro-services. This included load-balancing and setting up reverse proxy using Traefik. I also trained all the other departments on Docker. My deployment scripts went to Prod and were implemented error-free across 50+ countries.
Headed a team that set up scripts for automated Deployments of these micro-services via Jenkins.
Spent 2 months heading RRT (Rapid Response Team), which had a primary directive of handling errors and bugs found by clients in Prod. This was a multi-departmental and a multi-national team, my role was to manage these teams and ensure timely fixes and deliverables.
Worked extensively on clearing security threats on Cerner’s Legacy Code, by using HP Fortify and Twistlock Scans. Removed thousands of HP fortify issues (both CAT 1 and CAT 2) and dozens of Twistlock CVEs (Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures).

Built a path planning algorithm called Ant Hill Search (AHS), which performed about 20 times faster rate than RRT and gave about a 10% larger path than A* in certain test cases.
Created a custom generated simulation environment using Gazebo for Control System testing which was a PD controller.
The research was centered on self-driving cars using Linux SBC - Nvidia TK1, using a ROS framework and C++ coding language.

Embedded Engineer

They have solutions for fixed asset management, library management, parking system management, visitor systems, file management systems, and automated gate entry systems. Their clients include everything from big company such as Escorts, Hero, and Havells to the National Defence Academy of India.
I was given an assignment during my internship here to provide a creative solution for Sikkhim Manipal Hospital.
Personally, I worked on a system for a wireless queuing system for multiple counters. The system automated everything from coupon printing for incoming customers to counter selection for servicing.
This system used RF technology using a Master-Slave polling Communication Protocol.
The Sensor and actuation Control was done using ATmega32 Microcontrollers.
The system reached its prototype stage by the time I left, with a working model that could be used with multiple counters consecutively.
