I used to be an introvert. Yes, it’s true. But then, I started working. Growing up, I was mischievous and a naughty boy to my parents, similar to any ordinary boy in an average family in India. Surrounded by army officers, as my father ran a departmental store in a cantonment area, I was always enthralled by their discipline, command, and the respect they receive. I decided, I want that too. But life had some other plans for me. After giving multiple failed attempts to be a Navy Officer, I decided to loosen my hold on my childhood dream and step foot in the real world. I grabbed on the first opportunity, the market offered. Coped with lay off, COVID, promotions, and more, today I am an independent guy supporting my family and exploring places to learn and grow. Looking back, I don’t regret any of my failures. They helped me be the person I am today. And I am in love with what this person has to offer— fun, dedication, hard work, insightful conversations, and more. I still root for punctuality and discipline, given my fascination for army officers. Long story short, the life experiences so far have made a quirky introvert guy into a loving and helpful assistant manager. I wait for life to unfold and let me absorb everything it has to offer, be it highs or lows.
