• Prototyped a web application called the Year 2000 Personal Desktop Assistant. Developed the application in ColdFusion using an ODBC compliant data source. The purpose of the desktop assistant was to record the readiness of over 230,000 laptops and desktops around the globe.
• Wrote a user guide describing how project managers could connect to a newly integrated system, query the data, and create reports in Excel. The result included a business case requiring a web application where authorized users could run model reports with easy navigation.
• Collaborated with the development team to implement the web application with a multi-framed environment. One panel for each: data entry, reports, and navigation. Developed portions of the interface in DHTML providing an intuitive interface with rich popup help.

• Further responsibilities included editing documentation supporting terminal-emulation software and checking files into the product-build tree using a rigid change-management process.

• Co-wrote an Internet quick-start guide. The guide outlines Internet concepts targeting users of various levels. Wrote with perspectives of the Internet as being a community as well as a TCP/IP network.
• Provided classroom instruction focusing on Internet basic network protocol concepts, software tools, and general online etiquette.
