About

🔹 About Me 🔹 Hello! I'm Ozaam Ahmad Siddiqui, a passionate and dedicated third-year Chemical Engineering student at Zakir Husain College of Engineering and Technology, Aligarh Muslim University. With a current CPI of 8.931 and a stellar SPI of 9.057 from my previous semester, I strive for academic excellence and practical knowledge in my field. My academic journey is complemented by hands-on experiences and research. I had the honor of presenting my work on "Mineral Carbonation in Sea Water" at an international conference, showcasing my ability to contribute to cutting-edge research and engage with the global scientific community. This summer, I cracked a coveted internship at IIT Hyderabad, where I am delving into the intricate and dynamic world of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD). This opportunity not only provides me with a stipend but also allows me to work alongside some of the brightest minds in the field, enhancing my understanding and skills in CFD. Currently, I am also working on a research paper focused on "Mineral Carbonation in Sea Water," continuing my exploration into sustainable and innovative chemical engineering solutions. I am driven by curiosity, fueled by challenges, and committed to contributing positively to the field of Chemical Engineering. I am always eager to connect with fellow professionals, researchers, and students who share a passion for engineering and innovation. Let's connect and explore the fascinating world of chemical engineering together!

  • Project Profile: Development of UDF for Viscoplastic Material Simulation in ANSYS Fluent
  • Project Details:
  • Objective:
  • To implement a UDF in ANSYS Fluent that accurately simulates the viscoplastic behavior of materials, adhering to the new model proposed by Garimella and Anand. The simulation aimed to capture the nuances of the material's response under various flow conditions within a cylindrical pipe.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • i)Thorough review and understanding of the research paper to extract the mathematical model and parameters defining the viscoplastic material behavior.
  • ii)Development of the UDF in C programming language to integrate the model into ANSYS Fluent.
  • iii)Setting up the simulation environment in ANSYS Fluent, including geometry creation, meshing, and boundary conditions.
  • iv)Conducting simulations to test and validate the UDF against the theoretical predictions provided in the research paper.
  • v)Analysis of the simulation results to ensure accuracy and consistency with the expected viscoplastic material response.
  • vi)Documentation of the UDF development process, simulation setup, and results for future reference and publication.
