• 1. As part of the API – Life Cycle Management and Technology key responsibilities were working with cross
• functional teams to ensure successful scale up of processes from laboratory scale to plant scale, incident
• investigations, products downstream optimizations and process validation.
• 2. Involved in scale up of a product stage, encompassing 4 process steps, i.e., resin cleavage, filtration,
• crystallization and drying of the intermediate, to increase the yield by 3 times.
• 3. Was introduced to reverse phase purification processes, lyophilization, crystallization and peptide
• synthesis in microwave reactors.
• 4. Responsibilities extended to overseeing batch start-up activities, ensuring equipment suitability, sizing,
• and preparing comprehensive process engineering packages, including Material and Energy Balances.
• 5. Gained proficiency in creating Process Safety Management documentation and quality-related
• documentation such as PHA, PSI, PSSR, and QRA.
