About

After graduating in 2005 from IIT Roorkee, I had a brief stint at EvalueServe, which I quit in 2006 to join hands with 3 of my friends from IIT days to start Lakshya Institute in Patiala (www.lakshyainstitute.com). Our education system is plagued by the lack of talented and motivated teachers. At Lakshya, we set ourselves an aim to create an environment and nurture a culture which attracts best of the talent into teaching and innovating in the process of education deliverance. Working on this philosophy, Lakshya, grew into a 150 member team and with presence in Chandigarh, Panchkula, Patiala and Bathinda. These are the motivated individuals who left their cushy jobs in NVDIA, Oracle, TCS etc. to become TEACHERS BY CHOICE and to innovate with Lakshya. Lakshya today has successfully groomed extremely passionate leaders who are now taking charge of spreading the awesomeness of Lakshya. Now, with clear understanding of knowledge dynamics, we are passionately working on an extensive technology platform - Vedantu. Vedantu aims to disrupt Education by democratizing Knowledge. We the founders are a perfect combination of Teachers and Hackers, who have personally taught and mentored more than 10,000 students between them and have created scalable web products reaching million of users. Vedantu is conceptualized with an aim to make 'Quality Education Accessible'. Our vision is to create a 'Knowledge Network' where a learner and a learned can be connected - anytime, anywhere. I am extremely passionate about entrepreneurship and I love to remain in touch with young entrepreneurs who are working hard towards realizing their dreams. Many of them are still in colleges and have been my students during their K12 education days. I love to mentor them to the best of my knowledge and from my own experiences of entrepreneurial journey.

Lakshya is an educational enterprise which was started by a team of four IITians. It was conceptualized with a vision to make a visible change in the way education is imparted, learning is perceived and teaching delivered. It is currently operating in the engineering and medical entrance training segment.
It differentiates itself by having a strong online integration to its offline teaching. Its offline teaching also has strong technology integration where its pedagogy is based on 'Teacher + instructor led Content'. Uses multimedia and other aids to make 'Learning more Interesting'.
Lakshya aims to glamorize this profession of teaching and make it a preferred choice among the youth. Every teacher at Lakshya is a teacher by choice and it wishes young people who are passionate about teaching and education as a whole to come and be part of the team.
