Ms Indu Yadav is a well-respected educationist with over 32 years of teaching and administrative experience. She is a post graduate in English Literature from Hansraj College, Delhi University. She also holds a PG Diploma in Environment and Ecology. In her teaching career spanning almost two decades, she has touched lives of many students who are now successful professionals in various fields working in India and abroad. As a Post Graduate Teacher of English at Delhi Public School Noida, Ms Yadav introduced new ways of teaching English to senior school students. Apart from teaching English she has led Student Exchange Programme with Germany and headed Debating, Theatre and Environment Clubs at DPS Noida. She was also in-charge of the student empowerment & leadership programmes. She is credited with initiating many students into these activities who have excelled under her able guidance and have made a mark in the associated fields. She was appointed as the Head Examiner by the CBSE for classes X and XII evaluation. Owing to her expertise in her subject and her leadership qualities, Ms. Yadav received several opportunities from the Delhi Public School Society to conduct teacher training programmes and workshops in India and abroad. She has also been a senior resource person for the Satellite Teaching Programme, a special initiative of DPS Society. Ms Yadav was deputed to DPS Bahrain for a month to train their class X English teachers in innovative teaching methodologies. Ms Yadav joined Lotus Valley International School, Noida as the Headmistress of the Junior Wing in 2011 and brought in innovative pedagogical practices and ideas to equip learners with the 21st century skills. In a short span of four years she was promoted as the Vice Principal of the school. She has contributed immensely in developing and bringing LVIS Noida on a growth path with her unique inclusive leadership style. With her multi-faceted personality, Ms Yadav started many new initiatives to augment learning, stay abreast of the technological developments and provide hands-on learning experiences to children. She believes that the purpose of education is value creation and schools should help nurture positive world citizens and creative problem solvers for a better world. Her amiable personality coupled with her effective communication skills, help her in eliciting the best from her colleagues and students.
