As a part of my thesis, I have to explore new meanings of education+ entertainment+ engagement factor in my designs. My roles and responsibilities for include:
  • 1. Developing a brand for kids right from scratch.
  • 2. Conducting surveys and research about parents’ aspirations from this new brand.
  • 3. Explore new ways to implement experiential learning.
  • 4. Designing missions for exhibits for the mall setup for Quriosity. These Missions were designed as per the school curriculum of children. This gives them a chance to learn the syllabus in new and interactive environment.
  • 5. Design new games based on experiential learnings and merchandise.These games were designed such that they give longevity to the missions of the Experience Zone.
  • 6. Developing the characters for the stories, narration, storyboarding, and graphics for Missions and Games.
  • 7. Prototyping for the games. Exploring various mediums “experiential learning”
  • 8. Developing final mock-ups, designing game brochures, stickers.
  • 9. The digital mock-ups for the experience design. The narration and user experience were the key factor for any exhibits/theme. Hence a well conducted research is carried out to learn the likes/dislikes of the audience.

  • 5. Coming up with quick mock-ups and user testing, for validation of the idea was the most important part of the project.
  • 6. Final prototype was handmade game, tested and validated by the users.
  • 7. Designing Thots Lab: A space in every school where such sessions were conducted. The challenge is to maximise the space utilization with the storage of games in mind.
