  • on 26th April, 2018, Govt. of Bihar has approved सतत् जीविकोपार्जन योजना (Sustainable Livelihoods Yojana) with a budgetary outlay of USD 130 million/INR 850 crores for 6 years. The Yojana will be implemented through JEEViKA.
  • The SJY will follow the Graduation approach with an objective to empower “ultra-poor HHs traditionally engaged in production, transportation and selling of country liquor /toddy and ultra-poor from SC/ST and other communities through diversification of livelihoods, capacity building and improved access to finance."
  • To provide handhold support to 100-150 Community Resource Persons (Community Cadres) who will on their part provide support to 2500-5000 ultra -poor HHs.
