At Recykal, my primary focus was on conceptualizing and delivering digital solutions for the Deposit Return Scheme (DRS). I was deeply involved in understanding the intricacies of DRS, from consumer engagement to reverse logistics. My design work centered on creating highly intuitive and efficient user interfaces and experiences for the entire DRS ecosystem – enabling easy deposit payments, simplifying the return process for consumers, streamlining refund mechanisms, and designing robust applications for operational management by brands and recyclers. My goal was to leverage design to maximize collection rates, ensure transparency, and ultimately drive the success of circular economy initiatives through the DRS framework.
