  • Single handed prepared a Performance and Process Improvement Report for the Customer Relationship process and presented it to the management team of Mahanagar Gas Limited, the primary provider of piped gas to millions of homes in Mumbai. Being a continuous monitoring review, I had to look into the issues raised in the previous report and identify the extent to which the solutions suggested had been implemented. At the same time I had to identity further issues in the process which needed correction and improvement based on the management's goals and objectives. There were 3 issues out of the several raised which were identified as high priority and solutions for which have been implemented with immediate effect.
  • Was part of the team that conducted and prepared the Internal Audit Report for Bombay Dyeing & Manufacturing Company Limited, a leading company in the textile business, with me laying specific emphasis on their inventory process. As part of the audit, we held in-depth meetings with the various department heads to understand the workings of the each department, their role in the entire manufacturing process and any specific concerns that the department heads had. We carried out surprise factory visits, inspecting all aspects of the various departments from dyeing to finishing.
  • Assisted on the Performance and Process Improvement Report for the Procurement department of Mahanagar Gas Limited. The report required us to first gain an in-depth knowledge about the working of the department, their criteria for procurement, their Turn Around Time, study their inventory patterns and their procedures. We then had to make recommendations that would improve the overall quality and TATs while at the same time reduce their inventory levels.
  • Assisted on a similar report for the Projects department of Mahanagar Gas Limited, wherein we made recommendations to further streamline and improve the working of that department.
