• Filter.ly provides a platform to filter over the information overload in a user's social networks. We developed a semantic engine that creates a personalization graph of each user connected with the service. It enabled us to classify information with our web ontology, building interest graphs and to deliver a variety of personalized web experiences i.e shopping, news, advertising etc.

• Worked on finding ways to automatically reverse engineer “closed” network protocols for the purpose of passive and active identification. I developed techniques to probe suspect network ports for obfuscated and encryption-based protocols, specifically Skype, BitTorrent, and eMule. The technique blends together ideas from fuzz testing and passive protocol identification.

• Worked on expressible and interesting properties in the trusted remote attestation over static measurements; and developed a property based trusted remote attestation framework. The then standards provided by trusted computing group lacked features for a remote party to assert relevant behavior to the challenger. We realized the need of properties to be expressed in remote attestation and proposed a new property based remote attestation framework.
