• Working for Oracle India Pvt. Ltd. for last 3 years on the product Enterprise Manager.
• Implement new feature to create a ‘Sparse Disk Group’ on ASM (Automatic Storage Manager)
• ◦ Allow the user to select between ‘Sparse’ disks and normal disks.
• ◦ Check for various validation on the user input like correct failure group, correct version of DB and
• ASM.
• ◦ Generate SQL for creating the disk group based on the user selections and inputs.
• ◦ Implemented using UIX and JAVA.
• Design and develop portal for managing "Automatic Filter Driver" (AFD)
• ◦ A feature added in ORACLE product installation, for managing storage disks and implementing
• additional security feature for Oracle products.
• ◦ Allow user to select between different disks for provisioning and un-provisioning under AFD.
• ◦ Show which disks are provisioned and un-provisioned under AFD in a tabular form.
• ◦ My responsibilities were to develop front-end using ADF as well as back-end using JAVA and
• JDBC.
• Updating the existing features in the targets like STORAGE, HOST, ASM, SCHEMA of
• Enterprise Manager (EM).
• Write unit test cases in Selenium using ‘Perl’ for the new code.

• ◦ To implement play/pause facility, so that a test executes as per user intervention and guidance.
• ◦ To develop a tool for testing EM using JAVA and Selenium.
• ◦ To implement generic target selection across various platform for testing.
• ◦ To implement logging facilities which should include capturing screen-shot, log for each test-case and
• log for a suite as a whole
• ◦ Scheduling of the tests at different time.
