Seasoned business leader with leadership & management experience across entrepreneurial and intrapreneurial environments across consumer internet, fintech domain. My last stint was as CEO of Lending and Used Car Business at CarDekho.com. I helped transform the used car business from pure classifieds play to a transaction led business across buying and selling used cars. We ran three marketplaces together – B2B/C2B Auctions, Finance & Insurance (F&I) Marketplace and Consumer Classifieds Marketplace. I helped the business raise over $75Mn of venture capital including from Sequoia Capital and leading Indian Bank (Axis Bank) and as part of the top 5 leadership team, instrumental in setting the overall strategic vision for the company. Subsequently I co-founded and led the financial services vertical for the group, achieving over $$$ Mn of disbursements with partnerships with multiple leading financial institutions. During my stint at Cardekho, I led the team to scale the business over 10x and built the leadership & management team to operate and grow the business at the next well. I am an entrepreneur at heart and work like an owner. In 2011, I co-founded an education company that helped train people across skillsets ranging from sales, hospitality, service and leadership. I received B.Tech in Computer Science from IIT Delhi, and got my business education on the job first as a strategy consultant at The Boston Consulting Group and then working with Patu Keswani (Founder, LemonTree Hotels) as Chief of Staff, CEO’s office. I like reading about entrepreneurship, science fiction and company S1s!
