• OPI Grain Management System (GMS) is a platform that collects and provides access to data from sensors in storage bins where the grain is stored. OPI GMS version 2 is a transformational business and technical initiative, which aims to expose APIs in a way such that micro services based IoT applications and analytics workflows can be built on the top. Platform and API architecture needs to be re-architected and implemented to support this objective. The existing solution, OPI GMS version 1, is built and managed by an external vendor running over Cassandra database.
• Architected and developed micro-services based APIs with corresponding authentication and authorization, back-end database, workflow chaining implementations and third-party integrations. History management of IoT devices mapping and corresponding data sets to objects, accommodating varying frequencies at which data is transmitted from sensors owing to unreliable connectivity in remote locations like farms, data decimation for graphical representation of bin data over timeline were some of the interesting challenges in the project apart from migration of huge data from NoSQL Cassandra database to PostgreSQL.

• Converged multiple third-party disparate systems to an integrated seamless green-field ERP solution leveraging Ruby on Rails. Migrating data from different systems to common structure while retaining the mapping of documents running over 100gb in space. ERP streamlined business processes reducing turn-around time from customer acquisition to final delivery of services while tracking it against set milestones. Notable achievement was delivery of customized ticketing system, which was used for tracking the leads to delivery of service by entire staff. Architected and co-ordinated entire effort while coding on day-to-day basis.
